Sonia Pottinger, fallecida el pasado 3 de noviembre, fue la primera mujer que produjo musica jamaicana, siendo sin duda una gran impulsora de esta durante la época de los sesenta. En 1974, compro los derechos de Treasure isle a Duke Reid poco antes de la muerte de este, sin embargo, estos derechos fueron cuestionados por Clement "Cosxone" Todd, Anthony Reid (el hijo de Duke) y Bunny Lee. En el 2009, un tribunal jamaicano reconocio como suyos los derechos sobre Treasure Isle. Este disco contiene sus principales producciones de los sesenta
