V.A - 100% British Ska

El 2 tone fue muy importante en Inglaterra durante los 80. Grupos como los Specials o los Madness alcanzaron una fama enorme, llegando a tener discos entre los mas vendidos del pais durante semanas. Incluso Rowan Aitkinson, desde su programa de Skeches, Not the nine o´clock news se animo a hacer una cancion de lo que por aquel entonces era el ritmo de moda



Sin embargo, se conocen muy pocos grupos de 2 tone ingles mas alla de los de Coventry (Specials, Selecter, Swinging Cats..) y los de Londres (Madness, Bodysnatchers, Bad Manners..)
Otras bandas como The Tigers, The Birmingham, The Pharoahs o Ska city rockers, aunque gozaron de cierta fama en su dia, hoy se encuentran bastante olvidadas, siendo muy, muy dificil encontrar temas de ellas en internet. Precisamente, este recopilatorio trae temas de las bandas anteriores y de otras muchas, menos conocidas, ofreciendonos un repaso de la seccion mas "underground" del 2 tone britanico. ¡Que lo disfruteis!
